Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics USA, Inc., in partnership with Youth for Understanding (YFU), sponsors summer scholarships to Japan for high school students who are children of Mitsubishi Electric US employees, or any of its affiliates.

The scholarship includes round-trip international and domestic air travel, six-week placement with a volunteer Mitsubishi Electric host family selected especially for each student, orientation sessions for the students and their parents, preparatory materials and support services in Japan.

Students are responsible for submitting application forms, passport and visa fees (if necessary), personal spending money and required health insurance/immunization.
