Media Display Team manager Atsushi Tanaka, also understands that to achieve an end product that will arouse in audiences a sense of connectedness, exhilaration and pave the way for future possibilities, a collaborative and pragmatic approach to tackling problems is essential.
 |
"At the Sha Tin race track the existing legacy systems could not cope with the displaying of such high resolution
content. So we developed a technique to display the content at the same level as other broadcasting devices," he says.

Other areas such as production, hardware and software design undoubtedly had their own obstacles to hurdle and Tanaka points
out that, much like a jigsaw puzzle, all the relevant parts need to be realized, developed and all the completed elements
pulled together, before a picture is relayed.
 |
| "In the future I think that contents displayed on large screens need to be more applicable to all members of society,
including for example, the handicapped and elderly people," says Tanaka speculatively about Diamond Vision's impending
prospects. "For instance, there could be big displays on station walls and inside buildings that can interact with mobile
phones and have relevant sections for handicapped people and so on," he says. |
