VCB Electromagnetic-operated Mechanism

Our vacuum circuit breakers (VCBs) are equipped with an electromagnetic mechanism that utilizes the magnetic force of a permanent magnet to conduct switching operations while retaining the states of the switching poles. Higher reliability is being pursued by reducing the risk of failure due to component wear and deterioration. This has been realized by reducing the use of consumable parts such as the latch lever in conventional electric-spring-operated mechanisms and reducing the total number of parts (65% reduction compared to previous Mitsubishi Electric products).
