Position Summary:
Responsible for sales of new elevator and escalator equipment, possible responsibilities for service account management.  Provide support services and contract administration for existing customers.  Develop and maintain relationships with owners, building managers, general contractors, consultants, architects and developers.

 

The essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

·        Daily interface with customers, management, colleagues, co-workers and vendors, on contracts, contract support , contract negotiation, and administration.

·        Maintain current and accurate contract records and correspondence.

·        Coordinate with internal departments including Legal, Risk & Benefits, Human Resources, Engineering, Accounting, etc.

·        Perform job take off, Prepare estimates, proposals and bids, including vendor pricing, coordination with necessary departments and management.

·        Negotiate subcontract awards.

·        Prepare documentation for transfer to Project Management Dept.

·        Attend kick off meeting for proper handover of sold project to PM Dept.

·        Assist PM on resolution of pending items on occasional basis.

·        Assist in developing and presenting customer presentations on our products.

·        Travel up to 80% of the time, primarily local.

·        Perform site surveys for possible modernization’s, repairs or service of equipment.

·        Attend pre-bid conferences, job-site and customer meetings.

 

The non-essential functions of the position include, but are not limited to the following:

·        Maintain files.

·        Performs other job functions as assigned.

 

Experience/Training:

·        4 years college degree in Business, Marketing, Construction Management or Engineering required.

·        2-3 years of construction industry experience preferred.

·        Strong people skills.

·        Strong oral and written communication skills.

·        Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows (Word, Excel, Project preferred).

·        Strong mechanical/technical aptitude.
