Mitsubishi Electric participates in China-Japan Green Expo 2011

Mitsubishi Electric participated in the China-Japan Green Expo 2011, held June 1-3, 2011 in Beijing, China. Jointly sponsored by the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade and Japan's Keidanren (Japan Business Federation), this expo marked the first international environment-related exhibition held jointly by these two groups. The theme of the event was "searching for unity of environment and economy". Some 60 Japanese companies and 22 Chinese companies participated. The Mitsubishi Electric Group showcased a range of its leading-edge technologies covering everything from residential products to space systems, including air conditioners and FA technologies that deliver energy-conserving solutions. In addition, we outlined our vision to become a global, leading green company, and introduced some of our products and businesses in China that are contributing to environmental protection.

At the "technology exchange" seminars that took place on the second day of the exhibition, Mitsubishi Electric discussed "total building ecology," introducing the results of energy conservation verification tests for our energy-efficient lighting and elevator technologies. There were many questions from visitors about operations management of the system, and an opinion exchange was carried out. On the third day of the exhibition, we spoke about our latest technology for ozone generation equipment and its application in water treatment. We also introduced our track record of successful product installations in water purification and water processing facilities throughout China.
