Tournament Highlight from Vietnam
Vietnam, 13 January 2023
The AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup 2022 Runners-up Vietnam team played a total of 8 matches in front of the enthusiastic supporters, of which 4 matches were held at My Dinh Stadium, Hanoi.
Mitsubishi Electric exhibited the giant replica trophy and distributed stick balloons for supporters. Fan Village was full of excitement with people who were taking photos and or clapping the stick balloons!
In addition, Mitsubishi Electric invited local children to take part in the Player Escort Programme and held a backstage tour for them as a part of Mitsubishi Electric’s contribution to the communities through football.
One of the player escort, Nguyen Tu Anh, 7 years old said “This is the second time to be a player escort. Tonight, I was assigned to walk with a Malaysian player and I enjoyed”. She kept saying, “I really like the uniform I’m wearing today. I am so proud of wearing it.”
