MELSEC-A Series

MELSEC-A

AnCPU is suitable for simple systems up to large scale systems

  • When used for large systems with A4UCPU, 4,096 I/O points and program memory capacity of 120k steps are supported.
  • Systems of an even higher processing capacity can be built using A3A, A3U or A4UCPU instead.
  • Systems can easily be expanded to a larger scale by utilizing the network, since A2U, A3U, A4UCPU are compatible with the MELSECECNET/10.

*: Production was terminated in September 2006.

MELSEC-QnA

QnACPU features a superior performance and large capacity to support any type of system

  • When used for large systems, 4,096 I/O points, a program memory capacity of 124k steps and expansions up to 7 levels are supported.
  • When many types of special function units are used or when a large number of processes are controlled designs and changes can be implemented quickly through the distribution of tasks among programs.
  • Adjustments and changes in the field, as well as remote monitoring, can be performed simultaneously when the centralized administration of a distributed system is required, or when administration is required in the field.
  • Existing systems can be upgraded to systems with an accelerated processing speed and increased functionality of the AnCPU system, simply by replacing the sequencer CPU and some special function units.

*: Production was terminated in September 2006.

MELSEC-Q4AR

Q4ARCPU redundant PC system

This system is based on the existing system that was configured with a sequencer CPU, which had been enhanced with the redundancy of a power supply, CPU and network, in pursuit of high reliability. It is also a system that made it possible to accelerate the integer calculation process of the CPU and perform PID control.

  • Redundant PC system
The system is intended for control applications that require high reliability and is designed for continuous operations without suspending any arithmetic operations, even when a CPU unit, network or power supply fails.
  • Independent system of Q4ARCPU
Q4ARCPU used for the redundant PC system can also be used as an independent CPU for the QnA series.

*: Production was terminated in September 2008.

MELSEC-AnS

AnSCPU saves space and features a superior cost performance

  • Compact dimensions provide greater freedom for installation.
  • The adoption of A2USHCPU-S1 improves the processing capacity of systems.
  • Systems can easily be expanded to a larger scale by utilizing the network, since A2US and A2USHCPU-S1 are compatible with MELSECECNET/10.

*: Production was terminated in September 2014.

MELSEC-QnAS

QnASCPU features a greater number of functions, saves space and features a superior cost performance

  • Compact dimensions provide greater freedom for installation.
  • When many types of special function units are used or when a large number of processes are controlled, designs and changes can be implemented quickly through the distribution of tasks among programs.
  • Adjustments and changes in the field, as well as remote monitoring, can be performed simultaneously when centralized administration of a distributed system is required, or when administration is required in the field.
  • Existing systems can be upgraded to systems with an accelerated processing speed and increased functionality of the AnSCPU system, simply by replacing the sequencer CPU and some special function units.

*: Production was terminated in September 2014.

MELSEC-A0J2H

A compact I/O unit can be incorporated to suit a system

  • 32 points of dedicated input units, 24 points of dedicated output units, as well as 28 and 56 points of I/O mixed units can be combined and incorporated into a system.
  • Photocoupler insulation has been used for all units.
  • The operational status can be verified through the LED displays.
  • Maintenance work is easy with the terminal block connectors.
  • Installation can be performed with thin units that save space (and allow for stacked installations).

*: Production was terminated in September 2008.

MELSEC-A2C

Flexible installations!! Compact sequencer for wire saving units that is optimally suited for distributed controls

A sequencer that dramatically saves space and improves economy is thanks to the development of a compact I/O based on a new concept.
The baseless building block type flexible compact high performance sequencer is the A2CCPU.

*: Production was terminated in September 2006.
