Circuit Protectors

These are mostly used for protection when protection with an MCCB is not possible, such as on low capacity control circuits, heaters, motors, solenoid valves, transformers and electronic circuits. They make it possible to reduce the space required for the equipment and various control circuits such as the control panel. There are detailed differences in the types of rated current available and the lineup includes multiple over current operation characteristics.

Features

1. An opening/closing type compact terminal cover is included as standard

cover

finger protection

  • Finger protection is available due to the opening/closing type compact terminal cover and mark tube insulation!
(IP20 class from front direction (TÜV certified))
  • Additional finger protection from the wiring insertion direction.

terminal

  • Opening and closing is possible with one touch, so the checking of the terminal part at the panel shipping and witnessed inspections has been made easier.
  • The checking of the terminal part during maintenance has been made easier.

mark tube

  • Even with the terminal cover closed, the mark tube symbols are not hidden and can be confirmed with one glance.

terminal cover closed

  • Even with the terminal cover closed, it is possible to perform insulation resistance measurement and continuity inspections.

2. Wide variety of tripping methods

The lineup includes a wide variety of operation characteristics (instantaneous type, high-speed type, medium speed type, low speed type, medium speed type with inertial delay and low speed type with inertial delay), so it is possible to select the type suitable for the protection device.

3. Large type terminal cover (Component sold separately)

terminal cover (large type)

Large type terminal covers have been prepared as an option for bare solderless terminals.
Installation in contact with other devices has been made possible when the terminal cover is attached.

4. AC and DC common type

It is a type for use on both AC and DC, so it can be used as it is for any circuit at or below 250 VAC or 65 VDC. Furthermore, when items are held in inventory, in addition to reducing the storage space, the management work is reduced and there is no mistaken arrangement for AC and DC.

5. Reduced space requirements

The width per pole is extremely narrow and compact at just 17.5 mm per pole.
This makes a particularly large contribution to the reduction of the space required when the use is in large quantities.

Internal accessories

Auxiliary switch (AX)

Operates combined with the main circuit operating mechanism to electrically retrieve the ON/OFF status of protector.

Alarm switch (AL)

Operates combined with the main circuit operating mechanism to electrically retrieve the tripping status of protector.

Remarks:

  • (1) When the handle of CP30-BA is constrained in the ON status, it does not issue the alarm signal even if it is tripped.
  • (2) The alarm switch will be reset when the body is reset or turned on.

Shunt trip (SHT)

SHT can break the circuit instantaneously when the operating voltage is applied on SHT coil.
