Prior to joining Mitsubishi Electric, Havard served as lead instructional designer at IBM, and as instructional technologist for ATT, both in Atlanta. He was also a course developer at Georgia State University in Atlanta, and is a part-time instructor at GSU.
A native of Atlanta, Havard received his PhD in Instructional Technology from Georgia State University and holds a Masters degree in Instructional Design. He is a member of the Association for Educational Communications and Technology (AECT), the American Society for Training and Development (ASTD) and the International Society for Performance Improvement (ISPI).
Located in Lawrenceville, GA, the HVAC division of Mitsubishi Electric & Electronics USA, Inc. was established in 1984 to market state-of-the-art Mr. Slim split-ductless heating and air conditioning systems in North America. Since then, the division has expanded its market distribution range to include Latin America and the Caribbean. The company also markets and distributes PlasmaPure air purifiers.
