Mitsubishi Line Available in Best Buy Stores by Labor Day

MINNEAPOLIS, June 25, 2002 – Best Buy Co., Inc. (NYSE: BBY) and Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America, Inc., (MDEA) today announced an agreement to offer MDEA consumer electronics products through Best Buy’s more than 500 retail locations. Beginning this fall, Best Buy will offer an assortment of high-performance digital projection televisions, DVD players and VCRs.

Best Buy will offer 10 models of MDEA products at launch. The wide assortment of products from the Mitsubishi line range from DVD players beginning under $200, to High Definition Televisions ranging from $1,999 to $3,499.
