Compared to LEDs^*1, semiconductor lasers have lower power consumption, higher output and can be used with optical systems with high open F values^*2. These considerable advantages mean that they can be used for projectors that do not require focal adjustment.

We produce a wide range of lasers, including multi-mode semiconductor lasers with a wavelength of 638nm and 1W output (during pulse driving) that provides high visible, vivid red colors for compact color projectors. We also offer single-mode lasers and laser arrays.
