Natural Color Matrix

Conventional TFT-LCD modules had issues with color reproduction.

The colors shown on the display were different from the actual color (or shade) and were not as vivid.

This was due to the color reproduction characteristics of the liquid crystal.

Mitsubishi Electric's unique Natural Color Matrix (NCM) technology ensures the TFT-LCD module displays a more natural and vivid color.

This is done by separating color data and luminance components while controlling individual display colors (red, green, blue, cyan, magenta, yellow) for optimized performance.

Color reproduction is increased and a more vivid image is produced.

Feed-Forward Driving

It is widely known that the liquid crystal has quick response in wide gray values like “black to white” or “white to black” and has slow response in narrow gray values like “gray to gray”.

Mitsubishi Electric successfully developed “Feed-Forward Driving” technology for the industrial market through leading-edge algorithms and semiconductor technologies.

“Feed-Forward Driving” technology optimizes the driving voltage even in narrow grayscales, and improves response time within one frame (<16.6ms).
