Mitsubishi Electric has a long history of elevator and escalator business. In 1935, its first elevator was installed in Mitsubishi Kobe Hospital. Then, in the same year, its first escalators were installed at the department store in Tokyo. Since then, as elevator and escalator orders grew, they became one of the core business of the company. We now ship them to more than 90 countries around the world.
