Expansion of Overseas Business Operations
(1949)
While Japan was rebuilding its economy through globalization, Mitsubishi Electric set up Overseas Business department in January 1949.
By then, the company had already been exporting all its products to the US, Thailand, Hong Kong, Mexico, etc. Since then, our overseas operations gathered further momentum, and shipping destinations were expanded to a wide range of regions such as Southeast Asia, the Middle East and Africa.
