Children spent special moment with local football heroes in Vietnam

Vietnam, 3 December 2022

The AFF Mitsubishi Electric Cup Trophy Tour made its final stop in Vietnam on December 3, with the CSR Football Clinic taking place at OPS Football Pitch. Vietnamese football legends Nguyen Minh Phuong and Nguyen Viet Thang were invited to coach the local children on football techniques and play mini games with them.

Our colleagues also joined as assistant coaches. Mr. Takashi Nishikuma, Deputy Managing Director of Mitsubishi Electric Vietnam Co., Ltd, said, “Mitsubishi Electric is proud to have supported these Football Clinic sessions held at all five cities of the Trophy Tour. We hope that the experience of meeting and learning from their local football heroes has been a special and inspirational one for all the children who have participated!”

This CSR football clinic initiative is an extension of Mitsubishi Electric’s aspirations to give back to the local communities through football. We hope it has provided a great opportunity for children to learn football techniques and inspired them to pursue their dreams.
