Linear motor

Ironless Brushless Linear Motor. The AUM series linear motor uses ironless technology to make the motor obtain higher thrust in smaller volume, and has the advantage of higher force density. From continuous force of 2.7 N to 10,000 N and with options for convection cooling, forced air cooling and water cooling, we have the most complete range of linear motor for most application.

Direct drive rotary motor

Direct drive rotary motors (DDR) are motors that are designed to drive loads directly without the need of any transmission mechanism, such as gears or belts. These motors are also called torque motors. They use high energy permanent magnets to generate high torque. Akribis offers various types of DDRs, including ADR-A series, ADR-B series, ADR-P series,ACD series, ACW series and AXD series. We also design many customized direct drive motors according to specific applications.

Multi axis positioning system

GHD Stage (Gantry H Drive Stage), driven by Akribis' linear motor system, is with great positioning accuracy and great mechanical stiffness. Two solutions are available, H drive with dual feedback and H drive with single feedback. H drive with dual feedback is suitable for long-length bridge or high level accuracy condition. H drive with single feedback is suitable for short-length bridge or reasonable lower level accuracy condition.

Hybrid bearing dual gantry stage

Akribis System’s hybrid bearing dual gantry stage is designed to meet the needs of high throughput, high accuracy production in the industry. The dual-gantry design increases throughput and improves equipment utilization by enabling parallel processing. The flatness of the stage is fully defined against a single reference surface held to within 2 µm. The air bearing-guided chuck interface is attached to a carriage traveling along the X-bridge, which is in turn driven by two independent Y axes in a H-drive configuration. Collectively, the X axis and two independent Y axes control the chuck’s XY-position and yaw. In this stage, the payloads are driven through their centres-of-gravity to ensure stability at high speeds and accelerations and minimize settling time. Furthermore, the extremely low-profile design facilitates integration of the optical system or other processing tools for enhanced performance in a compact package.
