Essential Fans System
Essential fan system comprised with car park ventilation fans, smoke stop lobby fans and staircase pressurization fans.
Carpark ventilation fans include smoke extract fans such as exhaust air fan, supply air fan and jet fan. Supply air fan pump in fresh air from outside into the carpark and exhaust air fan extract out polluted air from carpark.
Jet fan is an impulse fan designed for the ventilation of car parks and underground service areas, so as both to reduce levels of polluted air and to assist with the extraction of smoke in the event of a fire.
When there's a fire, clean outside air is forced by a Stair Pressurization Fan into a stairwell. The pressurization is used to push back on smoke, keeping the smoke out of the escape route.
