Our Capabilities

Through the continuous pursuit of technological advancements in defense systems, Mitsubishi Electric has been a contributor to the homeland safety and security of Japan as a major supplier of electronics systems to the Japanese Ground, Maritime and Air Self-Defense Forces since the 1960s.

Air Defense Systems

Mitsubishi Electric develops and manufactures various air defense systems such as sensors and missiles.
ADCCS (Air Defense Command and Control System) processes data collected from various sensors to maximize air defense capabilities.
For supreme airspace protection, our ground-based radars provides initial detection and simultaneous tracking of multiple targets.

Radar Systems

We manufacture multi-function radars for destroyers, ground-based radars and fire control radars for aircraft.
We have also completed the indigenous development of the world’s first airborne AESA radar for fighter aircraft, and are now developing an airborne digital beamforming radar.
