Environmental Conservation Conserving Nature with Mangrove Planting in Malaysia

On July 26, 2025, the annual International Day for the Conservation of the Mangrove Ecosystem, around 100 volunteers from three Mitsubishi Electric Group companies in Malaysia and the Asia Corporate Office came together and planted 1,000 mangrove saplings in Muar with local communities, government officers and an environmental NGO.

Although the muddy field made planting very tough, everyone had smiles on the face!

Mangroves are important—they protect nature, support wildlife, and help fight climate change. We planted each sapling with care, hoping they'll grow strong and protect the coastal ecosystem and support the environment.
