Our Innovative Energy Storage Module named Mitsubishi High Power Battery (hereinafter abbreviated as MHPB) will be applied to Mitsubishi Heavy Industries, Ltd.‘s new brand “Prismo“, which is their newly developed, next-generation Automated Guideway Transit (AGT) system.

The MHPB, supplied by Mitsubishi Electric this time, features high power density, making it optimal for storing regenerative power, which is obtained upon the railcar’s deceleration.

Mitsubishi Electric’s advanced technologies will be leveraged in Innovative Energy Storage Modules, under jointly development, to upgrade Musashi Energy Solutions Co., Ltd.’s Innovative Energy Storage Devices with functions for vibration resistance, insulation and waterproofing to be utilized in railcars and any other vehicles.
