Mitsubishi Electric would like to provide a current status of our production facilities in the Kumamoto area related to our Semiconductor & Device business following the “2026 Kumamoto Earthquake”, which occurred mainly in Kumamoto Prefecture on July 28, 2026.

We have confirmed the safety of all employees, and there have been no casualties or injuries. However, operations have been suspended while we conduct safety inspections and verification.

Although no major damage to buildings has been identified at this stage, we are continuing to assess the impact on manufacturing equipment and production operations.

Mitsubishi Electric is continuing recovery efforts toward the gradual resumption of production, with the safety of our employees and all related personnel as our highest priority.
