HIGH-PERFORMANCE CRYPTOGRAPHY
Mitsubishi Electric has been bringing revolutionary change to the science of cryptography for more than a decade, starting in 1995 with MISTY, an exceptionally secure cryptographic algorithm that has been adopted as a standard for mobile phones and other devices by a variety of manufacturers worldwide.
New developments include the compact BRUME cryptographic algorithm, with a software size approximately half that of MISTY, as well as the BROUILLARD cryptographic algorithm, which processes data at approximately ten times the speed of MISTY. Industries that previously faced difficulties in applying cryptographic algorithms can now be empowered with safer communications and unprecedented levels of information protection.
