End of life is a serious matter for air conditioning

Mitsubishi Electric's new recycling programme for its range of air conditioning and photovoltaic modules in the United Kingdom will ensure that the maximum amount of raw materials can be recovered and returned back to the supply chain. A comprehensive 'end of life' recycling programme in cooperation with Overton Recycling Ltd. of Stourbridge (UK), it includes a free of charge collection of air conditioning equipment for Mitsubishi Electric customers, subject to conditions. This programme is made even more accessible by an easy-to-use website. Recycling forms a key part of Mitsubishi Electric's Green Gateway philosophy and way of conducting business as a responsible manufacturer, and also meets the needs of corporate customers seeking a recycling scheme that makes sound economic sense. The specialised recycling process ensures that 99.1% of all materials are recovered and recycled, and reports can be prepared and submitted to the Environment Agency on behalf of corporate customers.
