To help ensure harmony with nature and foster greater environmental awareness as part of Environmental Vision 2021, Mitsubishi Electric is engaged in numerous programs to raise environmental awareness among employees, their families and the local community.
Two major aspects of this initiative are: teaching people the importance of maintaining harmony with nature by providing opportunities for nature observation and direct participation in conservation activities so that they come to act autonomously for the sake of the environment; and engaging in nature conservation activities to restore damaged woodland environments.
This section outlines some of the ways that Mitsubishi Electric is carrying out environmental education and social contribution activities toward this end.
