SiC Power Device
Announcement of New Plant Completion
Mitsubishi Electric's Power Device Works completed a new factory for SiC 200mm wafers in the Shisui area (Kikuchi City, Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan) in October 2025. We are accelerating the ramp-up of the wafer production line. The new factory building achieves high production efficiency through advanced energy-saving features and full automation. Please refer to the documents below for further details.
