Air Conditioning Systems

History

1954

Shizuoka Works was established for the specialized production of room air conditioners and packaged air conditioners.

1968

Launch of "KIRIGAMINE", wall-mounted split-system room air conditioners equipped with the world's first line-flow fan.

1970

Launch of LOSSNAY heat recovery ventilation systems.

1978

Launch of "Mr.SLIM" air conditioners for commercial use.

1984~

Launch of "CITY MULTI" series of variable refrigerant flow (VRF) air conditioning systems.

1997

Launch of "KIRIGAMINE FX" series of room air-conditioners featuring "ZUBADAN" heat pump technology, achieving industry-leading heating capacity.

2001

Sales launch of the "REPLACE MULTI" series of VRF systems featuring unique technology to reuse existing refrigerant pipework.

R&D/Technologies

Ingersoll Rand and Mitsubishi Electric Corporation to establish joint venture

The new entity will expand ductless and VRF heating and air conditioning systems in the U.S. and select Latin American countries.

Open factory for room air conditioners in Turkey

This initiative aims to expand business in Turkey and Europe, where the demands for room air conditioners and refrigeration systems are expected to increase.
